What Is Hypnosis?

"Hypnosis is a gift you give to yourself."

Janet Curcio Wilson, M.Ed., ATR

Hypnosis helps you achieve a very deep state of relaxation.

While in this state, our Hypnotherapist makes positive suggestions tailored to your needs to help you achieve your goals.  Hypnosis is not magic or what we call, "stage hypnosis", which was designed for entertainment purposes.  Hypnosis allows you to make significant changes in your thinking and behavior by speaking directly to your subconscious mind.

Hypnosis Can Help:

  • Remove negative patterns around learning so as to increase self-esteem
  • Increase organizational skills – sometimes referred to as “Executive Functioning”
  • Instruct self-soothing techniques through Mindfulness Meditation and Self-Hypnosis
  • Build self-confidence
  • Improve the ability to recognize and respond to negative emotions
  • Decrease anxiety and depression

Did You Know?

  • Hypnosis fits 'hand in glove' with Brain Retraining and is validated by current neuroplasticity studies?
  • Children who learn self-hypnosis and Brain Retraining at an early age demonstrate better coping skills, perform better with peers and at home and can execute critical thinking skills with clear intent and a higher sense of competence?
  • Hypnosis helps individuals of all ages to remove barricades to relationships, work and family issues?
  • Self-Hypnosis places your brain in a more relaxed and receptive 'alpha' brain wave mode, increasing your ability to handle difficult situations?
